Shark diving in the Maldives was one of the most exciting things we’ve ever done, and Hulhumale is the perfect base for this adventure. After exploring the island’s beautiful beaches and vibrant streets, we geared up for shark diving.
We dived with Ocean Junkies Dive Center, and they made the experience unforgettable. The staff were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that we felt safe throughout the entire dive. We got the chance to swim with various sharks, including reef sharks and hammerheads. The adrenaline rush of being so close to these incredible creatures was unlike anything we’d ever experienced.
We stayed at Star Shell Hotel in Hulhumale, which was a great choice. The hotel is comfortable, well-located, and perfect for exploring the island. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff was friendly and always willing to help. It was an ideal place to relax after our exciting dives.
In addition to the diving, Hulhumale offers plenty to explore, from its bustling markets to relaxing on the beach. We had a blast here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and unforgettable experience in the Maldives.

Rasdhoo Island in the Maldives is a peaceful escape with stunning beaches, clear water, and a warm local community. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly locals and enjoyed walking through quiet streets lined with colorful buildings.
We stayed at Beach Cottage, a luxurious hotel on this small local island. Despite being a local island, the hotel was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff was attentive, making sure every part of our stay was perfect.
The island’s beaches are perfect for relaxation, with soft sand and calm water. We spent hours swimming, lounging in the sun, and strolling along the shore. Rasdhoo also offers the chance to explore nearby uninhabited islands, where you can enjoy private beaches away from crowds.
If you’re looking for a calm, beautiful place to unwind with a touch of luxury, Rasdhoo and Beach Cottage are a must-visit. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Maldives. We’d love to go back!

We dove with Rasdhoo Dive Club, and our guide, Yaikko, made the experience even better with his knowledge and skill. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, Yaikko’s guidance ensured we felt safe and comfortable while exploring the underwater world.
The highlight of our dive was swimming alongside manta rays, sea turtles, and schools of colorful fish. The visibility was perfect, and the underwater landscape was nothing short of breathtaking.
